Solo Travel 1974 is a cruise-focused website and YouTube channel created to help you plan your cruise with clear, practical advice based on first-hand experience.
I’m a British solo traveller who has visited more than 70 countries and cruised with several different cruise lines. The ships I’ve sailed on include P&O Arvia, Britannia, Iona, Arcadia and Ventura, Regal Princess, Sky Princess, Independence of the Seas, Liberty of the Seas and MSC Poesia.
Every guide on this website is based on cruises, ships and destinations I’ve personally experienced. The aim isn’t to provide generic travel advice, but to explain what actually happens and what you need to know before your cruise.
